Well guys i decided to take a day off work today the windchill was minus 20 and the sun was shining.
Quiet times to be had while fishing a weekday but the fish were biting landed 4 brookies no big ones largest was about 13 inch the rest all about the same.
I thought i had really good underwater video this time but my DVR acted up and never recorded maybe next time here is a pic of one of the fish i caught out of the 4.

Hey Kurt a rough estimate do you think a Brooke Trout that size would be around 3 yrs in age your opinion.

I’ll take a day of fishing any northern lake and getting skunked over a day of work anytime. The fish are a bonus!

How deep were you fishing Sparky?

I was fishing 27 steps off shore which is 6 feet deep i marked it on shore with a stick about 4 feet tall.
I go to the same spot by pacing out steps it puts me right on the rock pile at 32 steps im off the rock pile.
