World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 1177 Member No.: 6091 Joined: February 04, 2014	With the direction the wind has been blowing, and given the opening of the breakwall is facing the wind, i would assume that waves have been smashing that area pretty bad. Resulting in very limited ice. But i havent driven down the qew to look so i could be wrong.

Lunker Trout Group: Members Posts: 329 Member No.: 3164 Joined: January 24, 2013	I use to fish the Beacon Marina when the Ice would move up and down a foot with the rollers, you need to build a good base and then when it breaks up fish the large sheets of ice.....it use to be a great spot for Jumbo's back in the day but the internet and 50-100 fishers a weekend have killed it, better fishing in the fall now
