Where to start??? It surely was a great day. Thanks to all those who brought food--great deer sausage. Ate 2 and had no room for moose. Thanks to all who helped put this together, especially Jerry, Sudys and BWB. All I saw all day was happy smiling people, wether or not they were catching fish. Really enjoyed meeting so many people today, but at my age I will have trouble remembering names and putting faces with names down the road.
Something that really impressed me was there was no booze in evidence in our group. Also, I don't think I heard any profanity all day. At times over the years when I have been out fishing near groups, many times every 2 word in a sentence is the "F" word. I'm no prude, but I just find that behaviour distasteful.
A few weeks back I put up a post about the difference between "fishermen" and "people who fish". Today, all the folks out there were FISHERMEN!! Don't have nay pics to post as I didn't take any, even though I had the camera out there. Thanks to all of you who have posted pics.
Those of you who missed today missed a super time. The next time one of these is put together try hard to be there. SDC
