Hi guys heading to bancroft today in the cottage was going to try small back lakes just wondering how is the ice condition. Just going to fish couple of meters from shore.j

Shorelines are pooched up there, be very careful if you do find whats left of the ice. There is quite a bit of open water now. I recommend tying off if you decide to try anyways, if you can get out somewhere.

Thanks I went on my lake yesterday theirs still about 8 inch of ice but some part of the shoreline melted. The big lakes has alot of open water though so would not risk going in their.
