Thanks guys! Really was a good way to end the season yesterday on lake whatever you want it to be lol. Even though the ice was thick with atvs still out there I found a spot where I guess water pooled up and got a vortex going in that spot and opened up a hole roughly 4 by 4 ft. Wish i could have marked it with something but the lake is bare. Would swallow an atv whole. Simcoe is now ice free so I am going to try and learn how to launch my first boat which I bought at the end of December. Don't get angry at the slow guy at the launch if you see me!

Don't worry about the boat launch. I was nervous the first few times as well. Its just like driving a car, there's a learning curve and practice will perfect it. Just make sure you are prepared before backing down the ramp. Don't be afraid to ask people around the ramp for guidance or help. Odds are that boaters around will be more than willing to help. I would rater help someone launch their boat than sit there watching one struggle for an hour, which in turns delays my trip.

have fun with your new boat.

Don't forget the transom saver and tie downs too! Saw a guy launch last year and couldn't figure out why the boat wouldn't float off the trailer.
