Hi everyone hopefully somebody can help me out. I'm looking to go camping in a few weeks and the place that I was going to go is closed. Does anyone know of any easy access Crown Land camping places not too far from Toronto. Maybe like 2 hours to 3 hours away. We're either Pike is open or lake trout but preferably both? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Also I understand if people don't want to put their favorite spots on the internet. You can pm. me if that makes you feel better.

Sparky...you're not too far off, at least around here (just south of Huntsville), the only two patches of crown land I know of are quite small...one is just hardwoods right beside hwy 11 and guys hunt deer there every year, and the other has a tiny pond with specks! The city-its figure they own all of that too!

Yes maybe 2 hours is stretching it.
But everyone seems to know what I mean.

Mackfisher do u know which islands on Gbay? Like an area that I could look into?

And DB, I couldn't go to your backyard as I'm sure you'd poke holes in my boat while I was gone sleeping lol.

They have maps on line that shows you what you need to know e.g. simcoe county land ownership maps type something like that in. Hope it helps.

Wow lol.

Maybe in the future but this is just a weekend trip and I wouldn't want to spend it driving.
Thanks though.
