Missed ice out high flying lakers this year.however I did get out this week, and managed to get one little beauty in the boat.
I upgraded my sonnar from the humminbird piranha gray scale to the humminbird helix 9 di. Just a slight technological advance between the two models.o well the piranha served me well for many years,as did my commodore 64.

Found more returns and cranked the sensitivity to get the full arch effects

I was raised on reading the old eagles an then move to the lowerence an hated the hummingbirds but I will likely be upgrading to hummingbird in the next few years due to the fact I believe they now have surpassed the other technology.

You didn't miss the high flyers, we're getting them way up shallow right now. Hell, there was still skim ice this morning! They're gonna be up shallow for a while yet with this weather.
