Hello Everyone, can someone recommend a lodge that has good fishing but has activities and has a family oriented type atmosphere. Looking at two three hours north of TO. Looking at early Aug. Thanks.

I have fished many lakes in the Parry Sound area. Depending on what you are targeting mainly, but I have had success in every lake with bass and pike. There are some VERY nice cottages that you can rent that the family will enjoy. If you are looking in the Peterborough area, you cant go wrong with Camp Ashtabula, Camp Fisherman, Elim Lodge (if you are looking for a Christian resort). I know Camp Ashtabula is booked solid from late June through early September. My family has been going there for 30 years and the fishing is great for whatever you want to fish for. Muskie, bass, walleye, perch (biggest ive caught was 9 inches) blue gill, crappie. (only 1.5-2 hrs north of Toronto without traffic)
