Hey, muskyaaron.
Those special lures that Trapperdirk is talking about. The "L" stands for learner,I got a few of those lures in my box over the years as I think most of the men and women on this forum have too. L.O.L!

I have fished a few lakes there over the years.

Farquhar,Fishtail and Windemere many moons ago.
Flat lined med Williams gold/silver wobbler and a med silver Lucky Strike with the ruby red eye,was using lead core back then. I still use that line today,Damn cave mentality will never change,so the wife keep's tellin me! L.O.L!

Fished Pusey lake aka dark lake last year with a buddy. It was a couple weeks after opener and they were all high in the water column got one a peice using williams spoons blue and silver

Try the Esson lakes better luck there maybe if you can find away on them
