It looks like there was some good interest in the series so I'm going to try and get it going. Hopefully it turns out well and everyone can make the events. What I have in mind is 5 tournaments on the following lakes with a 2 day classic at the end with day one also being the gold bass tourney and day 2 will be just for teams who have fished 3 or more tourneys. Rankings/ places will be determined by the heaviest weight of thier top 3 heaviest weights plus the 2 day classic for the team of the year. And if anyone wants to do just one or 2 of these dates, aside from the 2 day u are welcomed to join. Still have some details to hash out and dates aren't 100% set in stone but are very likely. Just let me know who's in, what dates/lakes u are in for and pm me your email address and I can update u on rules and details.

hoping to do all of them but its unlikely. im pretty sure will make the august ones for sure though.
Also standings for team of the year or whatever should be based on points and not total weights from the best three tourneys. for example: If someone fishes only 3 tourneys and one of them is a ridiculously tough day but they grind it out and win the day with a 9lb bag they should not fall behind a team that fished 3 different tourneys on good weather/condition days but only finished in like 8th place with a 12lb bags.

I definitely see your point and would like to meet with everyone interested to hash out those kinds of details. But Tbh I think by weight is is fun as we can up date on here and say going into the classic it can be fun as u know what weight u need to pull out to win and it can be fun.
Say someone is ahead of u by 2 lbs going in to the finals and they weigh in 18 lbs. When it's your turn u know need 20 lbs to beat them.

@alpha One thing to also mention is some tournaments might not have as many people as other. So let's say for example weslemkoon is further from the GTA than he other lakes. If only 5 teams show and the 5th place team gets skunked it's not really fair that that team gets points for being in 5th place when on let's say rice lake a team in 5th place might have 15lbs and so it wouldn't be fair to have the same amount of points. So this way if u have a bad day u can just make it up on another lake as its your best 3 weights.

Just pro rate the points for the amount of boats. Like say 5points per boat all divided up in the same percentages for positions consistently for all the tourneys. I think that should work so the winner of a tourney against 20boats would get more points than that of a winner vs 5boats

I don't hate that idea but still....lol.
Like I said we should all get together and come to the best suited terms and go from there.
