I thought you got a waterproof one after last years incident?

apparently waterproof doesn't include washing it in a washing machine

also had to get a new fish finder and probably wont get any of my waypoints back

a couple of the brass connector prongs broke off and now apperntly its impossible to power it up.

That's sucks fork! At least we will all have chance now on rice

Woo hoo phone is back and I didn't lose anything.
Took battery out and air dried it on hand drier at work and dried it in rice right away. After 24 hours it still wouldn't turn on. Went to Samsung and they said need knew screen and may even mother board. I could hear messages coming in still so didn't think mother board was a problem and so I blow dried it on one of those crazy extreme blow hand driers then put it in silca crystals. I turned it back on and the screen went green. I was like ok I think this is good.googled it and it said reset the ram. I did that then Put it back in crystals and it started working. The colour appears to be a little bit faded but it's working.
No pics lost and I can now make sure it's backed up.


Now. Just have to sort out fish finder and I'm all set

Thanks everyone who made it out. It was a pretty tough day out for most.
And there were on and off thunder storms.
In the end it was GQ who pulled in with a very nice bag of large mouths.

Neither of my fish finders worked but a spot in knew from memory paid off. It's to bad I couldn't find more like this.
Or at the very least my limit.
