Tips on Rice?

Hi everyone,

Going to head out to Rice Lake tomorrow and it will be the first time for my friends and I. We will be heading out from Gores Landing near West Sugar Island and Sheep Island. Should we head up to the river west of CowIsland...? or near the railroad?


I am used to fish on Buckhorn with simple grub+carolina rig or senkos+ wacky rig and they have been effective.

Any tips would help and will be greatly appreciated!

The river has been pretty good this year, use senkos also fish the pads with frogs.

Fish along the edges of all the islands, if that doesn't produce. Go near the mouth of the river. Then finally the railroad.
