Far from it; the water has been warming up as the temperature at night was still in the mid 20's. Today the heat wave snapped and it's cooling down, so I think over the next week you'll see temps start to be more fall like.

I was still catching largemouth in 2ft of water in lily pad fields yesterday.

I can tell you that Pigeon hasn't even started to turn over yet. I was there yesterday and the surface temp was 74.4 to 75.6 at different areas of the lake. It will probably start to drop this weekend.

Saturday morning looks like temperatures around 5. I wonder if that will shut down the morning bite and if it'll turn on in the afternoon.

lol
Upper buckhorn has not turned over yet , has it?
Last season the lake turned over by 2nd week of September... I was up there with a couple of buddies and our fishing trip turned into a boating trip LOL

Did anyone fish specifically on upper buckhorn in the past couple of days?
