Holy cow! Or should i say holy laker! Teamed up with fellow board member Macfisher(Mark) and headed out to a nearby honey hole in Muskoka. Arrived at our destination at 845 am , set up our shelter and started our laker hunt.Mark beat me to the starting gate as he dropped down a shiner minnow suspended under a slipfloat before i even had time to sit on my bucket.Whack! Fish on he exhales and the lengthy battle began! The area not known for very large lakers but rather large ling so we both expect a ling to pop its head through after some heavy head shakes and drag pulling.Oh man its a Laker he shouts out, like the ones you see on Simcoe! Oh yes it was at that, a decent 8-9 pound brute! Congrats Mark on landing your personal best Laker on that dinky little perch set up lol. The day passes quickly as it usually does when your getting lots of action and have the presence of good company! We combine for eleven lakers on this day , with tubes and slipfloats once again out performing the live bait.I also got a decent laker right as our day ended at 230pm.A solid fish in the 4-5 pound range which i quickly released as we had our creel limit iced already.Great day on the laker grounds once again! Have a Crappie day!

Nice job boys. That’s a few bigger ones now from there! Very encouraging. Too much hockey for me this weekend to get out. Glad you found a suitable replacement.

Great results Dale !! Finally feeling better but back to work for 3 nights before hopefully getting out this weekend.
That whole big ling thing makes me interested in an afternooon into evening session. Don`t know if you can stay up that late but we can talk about it soon.
