Oh man mother nature can sure stick it to us, we can attest to that as Fishing Fan and myself braved all the elements and set out on a Speckled mission. SPECKLED PIKE AND PERCH THAT IS! Haha gotcha! And we were not disappointed as we managed three Speckled Pike and several Splerch, a name commonly used on Speckled Perch!mmm. Ya got this picture yet? Ok heres the pix that most stand out.Glad we didnt get pix of our faces walking back into a stifling gale force wind with snow beating straight at our faces and me mere seconds from a possible heart attack! Whoa...Mamma nature easy on us old boys! Heres the pix have a Crappie day!

What a miserable day. But glad we could hoot and holler and put on a show so the nitwits that set up 20’ away on an empty lake thought we were on “the spot”. Trout tomorrow!

DB you a tough old codger....I saw those winds in the forecast and canceled....it then started to snow here so I had to stick around anyway and plow driveways.
