Im a pretty new fisherman (have a hut and all the supplies). Would love to get out with some new people if your interested! PM me if your interested. Im from the Barrie area so any where around kempenfelt bay/cooks bay would work for me.
Cheers

Nice haul there bud!
I would be interested in getting out with you sometime. I have never gone for lakers/whities other than with an outfitter (no electronics). Been out for perch a few times this year with decent luck.
I'm also a student, so our schedules might work out!
Tight lines!
Hey, great to hear. But without electronics fishing kbay can be a real head ache. Essentially you aree fishing blind without one. With a sonar you can relax and chill out until you find a mark then it's game on

I have been skunked on KBAY for too long...3 times.
Will definitely ice some lakers this season on simcoe!
Have all the gear, wouldn't mind heading out with more people. Will probably learn plenty as well
3 times isn't so bad. I went through 3 winters before I iced my first whitey and Laker for the first time. Perseverance pays off. Keep at it and they will come and after you pop that cherry it only gets easier.

Do u have electronics? In my opinion, sonar is just as important as shelter and heater, nd tackle. Electronics have to be good, or else fishing is near impossible for whites and lake trout.
