had the chance to get out first time this year, had to break the trail in but proved to be worth the effort. sunday was minus 24 with 30 kmh winds but managed to ice two nice brookies. one was two pounds the other weighed in a 4 pounds a personal best for me. may have to go back again when the weather gets nicer.

thanks it almost didn't happen after we fought our way into the first lake we couldn't find the trail into the second lake.I started to drill a couple holes on the first lake while my buddy went looking again .he came back 10 minutes later, said he found the trail did i want to go. we decided to pack up and go into the other lake good thing we did.
