New to the boards here! Was thinking about heading to Dorset monday, but was wondering if anyone knows if the ice is thick enough up there to still be safe after this weekends warm spell? Thanks in advance!

Haven’t been out in Dorset but been out on lots of other lakes in area. Good solid ice on most don’t think this little mild spell will affect much.

Thanks for the info! I’ll give it a shot I’m thinking, just to get out for a bit of a nature break

Good luck! I was going to give it a go out that way in morning but had some unexpected plans come up. Will let you know if I do make it out though.

Likewise. I’ll give a report too Monday night. Calling for snow flurries up there now, so at least I won’t be getting rained on lol!
