Just down the road from my place....It's 6 ft deep. Entire lake. Should be good fishing...half the water volume will be frozen, giving the pike only half their summertime range. (Hot tip-don't fish deeper than 6'...haha). Oh, and watch you don't get snagged on the cat-lady. She lived in a garden shed nearby, and disappeared. Search "Siding Lake CBC" for the creepy details!

Thanks for the update. Just fished there this morning. Nothing happening. Tried minnows, they died almost immediately. We had success in the summer, but we were concerned about a lack of oxygen in the water. 12-13 inches of ice. We went out about 100 yds from shore off the railway tracks. Any suggestions?

Live minnow works, unless jigging then dead ones can work. Move around, check new spots.
