My best day of fishing EVER!, Canada Day

Lunker Trout Group: Members Posts: 495 Member No.: 10989 Joined: January 29, 2016	I was lucky enough to head out to Lake Ontario on Canada Day with a buddy and his son. It was a beauty of a morning, hip playing and lines screaming. Ended up going 15/19 for the morning. Reeled in my PB Rainbow Trout (my first not from a stocked pond) and a bunch of nice Kings. One smaller King took a bit of a beating so took home a nice meal for dinner. Doesn't get much better than that! Pics to follow...

Actually we pulled one out with an Alewife in its mouth, and the one I took home had 4 in the stomach.

We marked a bunch of bait schools, including one that looked like a giant mushroom cloud.
