Change your strategy. Hunt the trials close to the bedding areas. Where there are does there are bucks. Closer to bedding areas= more chance to see a buck on it's feet.I don't bait and believe there is just too much human odour left behind at a bait site for bucks to be interested especially during legal hunting hours.I do have food plots to keep deer in the area but only hunt them during the gun season. Or when time is running out and I think that my plots are the food source of choice.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately the bedding area is off the property that I can hunt. I had a young buck hitting the bait but he has vanished. Shot or hit by a car or coyote I suspect. I am using apples corn and buck jam minerals. Hopefully I will see some action on the cams tomorrow Running out of time though. I will have to take a walk around and stock but that’s so hard with the bow. Thanks again

I want to see you get close or better to a buck. Try getting to the edge of your property closer to the bedding area. Get in a tree 25 to 30 feet high with at least 1 or 2 natural shooting lanes. Hang it and hunt it the same afternoon. The wind should be in the direction towards the bedding area but slightly to the side. Use the can call . Let the does walk. Shoot the buck lol. Obviously there is alot more to the sent elimination to consider...but the wind direction is key. especially if the wind has been consistent for a day or 2.
