Yeah I'm sure it will be a fine reel, I buy about 90% of my rods reels and fishing line on amazon, the cons are shimano, abu garcia, daiwa high end products are pretty much never discounted, and they don't have any advertised sales, When you see a product you have to pretty much buy it that day, although I have a couple $130 rods marked down from $250 in my cart hoping to drop closer to $100, but they could shoot back up to $250 any day.
The pro's are 40%-80% most other high end brands and as long as I buy flouro by the 1000 yard spool it usually goes down half of tackle warehouse's price.
amazon uses an algorithm to dictate the price, in a couple months if no one buys any they'll be at the same price again for a day or 2 and when someone buys one they'll shoot the rest back up to twice the price and start the process over again, better deals in the winter as people aren't thinking about bass fishing and less purchases being made to keep prices high.
I don't know anything about non related bass gear although once this reel hits $120 I'm going to snag it as well

(muskyaaron @ Nov 25, 2018 - 01:53 pm) I got two lowrance elite ti 9 units on sale with a Navionics card for 779 from 1379 each! Amazing deal
Sorry to resurrect the post but I can't seem to PM (is it cuz low post count? I'm a long time lurker lol)
Are you using any RAM mount or other 3rd party system to mount the screen? I got this deal too and realize the 9" doesn't swivel. And the price difference of RAM C size ball vs D size (recommended for 9ti2 on site) is more than doubled lol. All I want is ability to swivel screen to see from bow or stern
Thanks! And yes what a deal!!
