Unfortunately not much unless you catch them in the act. Hopefully the picture is time stamped as people tend to be creatures of habit. Return at that time and day of week and be prepared to call the cops and/or MNR. Signs do little to deter the activity only punishment and it has to be sever or else its just the cost of going hunting

mreid are you the owner of the property? Every year we see posts like this from non property owners that have permission to hunt a property. In these cases it's actually up to the owner to control access. Also is the property signed or otherwise set up so that Tresspass to Property Act is valid there?

Yes I am the property owner. I have posted signs up. However these A--Holes do not care where they go or who's property they are hunting. How do you enforce trespassing act when they could be anywhere on your property at anytime..

Try to put camera in your easiest access point those a**hole are most likely to use. I took care of 4 tresspasser this fall during my moose hunt. I caught them myself. Took picture of them, picture of 3 of their atv. The 4 one drove away. But I got his picture from my trail cam. All picture got sent to local police with picture of my land posted signs.
Later that day I got check by the CO. I showed them the pictures and they came take a look at my property line. They now have the picture also.
No follow up from cops or MNR but I trust them.
Im sure those guys won’t be back, they know I took picture of them and their ATV because they got stuck on my rock fence line.

Were they retrieving their game? We caught people running through our property to retrieve or track their game. Rather they not waste game meat. But if you catch them posting in your property... I hope you fix them a good one.

What drives me nuts about trespassers is that we, as landowners, shouldn't have to put up signs. We shouldn't have to track them down. Provide evidence. Waste our time. It's not theirs they shouldn't be there. It's like sitting in someone else convertible in the super market parking lot while they are inside. Just because they aren't there and just because there was no sign doesn't mean that it is ok to sit in it.
Yosemite Sam said it best.

Checked my hunting property today and found that someone spray painted the no trespassing sign and then walked on in. I can’t understand the mentality of some people. Cheers 7r
