Had to do a renewal for my birthday in Dec ...November 27 I went online ...filled out the online application ...took a pic with my phone camera and attached it to the online app with payment info and within 10 days had the new pal in my hands ...so in short you don't have to invest in passport pics anymore … the process is really simple ..
They state the pic cannot have shadows but I noticed after I sent the app that there was a slight shadow on one side but I guess not enough to affect the renewal.

Agree . I got my short Mutti to take a few . Twice she cut off my head then got it right and it got the pass . Some of us are born with a face only a mother can love .
