January 11th, Good start.

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 2791 Member No.: 9650 Joined: June 18, 2015	After driving around the whole lake and testing numerous areas we finally found a spot which we spudded out to and felt comfortable on. Only had 2 hours to fish but we got 3 whitieys. Be careful and check each step. Got a call today from 2 different people in 2 different areas with reports of people falling through.

It was likely okay in a couple of spots we tried... but that unnerving feeling of being the first walker on the ice is always a challenge to overcome! Lol
