Headed out mid morning, in no big rush, thinking id stay for the evening crappie bite. Had a few new areas of basin water i wanted to check mid day. A lot of drilling produced fleeting schools that would only stay under me for a few drops, lit the vexilar up from top to bottom in 18 fow, problem was, if you want to call it that, they weren’t the intended species, crappies dont seem to like me, maybe elrik and db can team up and write a book so i can read it, lol. Nonetheless it was a fun day of hunting panfish, with a few nice ones for the pan, and a couple bonus largies and gills at last light on a nice weededge in 10 ft, all the suspended fish were caught on an aggressively worked slab rap, and the evening fish on gill getters with assorted plastics
