No not at all, only supposed to be around 5cm and fluffy stuff so maybe it will blow away. Frid/Sat is supposed to be 4-5 above so maybe it will melt off and make a curling rink surface, easier to walk on.

Would anyone be able to comment on the quality and thickness the ice might be at Glenwood Beach? Have a couple of nephews pulling my pant legs wanting to go fishing lol Thanks in advance

I can't comment on the thickness, but I did talk to a lady and her kid as they came off the ice when I took the picture. She said that there have been huts there since before new year. There were kids skating just south of the huts. I'm heading there in the morning

Gleanwoods park resident pass only. Space for 8 or 9 cars. Not sure if bylaw enforcement checks in winter, however you can park on Glenwoods. Please try to park on side with most cars as parking both sides makes it tricky for cars travelling up down street. Once ice thickens you can a drive on lake to park.
