I have been following this post by TD and its a good one. They are so much a part of our life. Over the years I've said goodbye to 4 best friends and you never get over it or at least you never forget. never forget you get back and maybe even more than you put in. can't imagine life without a 4 legged friend

Ahh seeing all the pics of your pups and hearing some of the " called , the we should beat them with stick " stories are comical . lol . Not a lab on the planet cannot leave a track because yes they really shed . LOL
Your Springer was likely related to mine Limacharley .He was a Springville dog .

Yup a bunch as tough as me by look of the couch potatoes .LOL Our dogs FEAR US but only online must they by look of pics .LMAO
All good folks . Dogs are our peaceful part of soul . Everyone who posted a pic of their dog will usually get my trust first not that it matters to some . Most who hunt and fish own a smiley dog . I am a grump and kinda tough but own a smiley dog . There is a reason I do own a smiley breed . Miss Lucy knows . Don't ask .. lol

Yup your bird does look a tad on froze side Turtle .lol That gunshy, noisy has her pink collar and wont fool this old dog man Mr TURTLE . LOL Nice try though and nice shiney coat . No not you Turtle . your dog !!!! .Im asking your mom if honestly you pass for not ugly . LOL Nice lab though .

Kerry....getting another dog is good advice,it makes the pain go away.
I'm sure I'll get another dog. I can't express how much I miss my Sophie. Aside from missing her, one thing that really hit me that I miss was, our routine. It took me better then a month to figure out she wasn't meeting me in the morning before work and the first one at the door when I came home. I dearly miss that. This is the last pic I ever took of her. I took it cause I knew it was going to be the last.

I consider myself the meanest talking and meanest ,crankiest etc on the planet . BUT then there is soul and the hurt Fishnhunt I know .It was a year ago I put Charlie down ..I have been through a few so felt the pain and still do ,Then I got Miss Lucy .Short point being,, we are dog people , me I love my cat too .LOL
I totally expect to outlive Miss Lucy but its 73-74 I will have to make . Smile lads and add 15 on top of your age . haha ha
