Try it all on a motorcycle and it really makes driving the 400 series highways real fun

Those that weave in and out of traffic doing 140 scares the crap out of me at the best of times, but they seem to think they are invincible. You know the ones you watch in your rear view mirror coming like a bat out of hell, cut beside you, then in front of you just narrowly missing your bumper. You watch as they disappear ahead of you, bobbing in and out, like some maniac on mission that only they know what it is. This also goes for those on the supersport bikes who seems to think life moves at 160km on average. Take the time, we'll all get there when we get there!

Woohoo. Someone must have heard our complaints they are talking about raising the speed limits to 120 and why speed limits were set the way they were set to begin with. And my personal favorite giving people who drive in the left lane tickets if they are driving too slow.

“Because when people drive dangerously slow, the safety of others is put at risk,” said Yurek.

This has long been overdue so this is good news to hear and hopefully they will raise the speed limits.
It's good to hear that they will ticket slow drivers on the fast lane as I think this is one of the biggest issues on the road.

In the end, this is good news to my ears and hopefully the speed limits will change.

Current speed restrictions were set I believe when we went to the metric system. When my father was a teenager the 401 was 70 mp/h.

I agree with the change in speed limits on the 400 series highways to 120 km/h. Due to traffic across the top of the GTA it’s rare to be able to drive even 90km/h but other sections of highway it would be reasonable to travel 120 km/h.

Agreed with it being long overdue. I can’t wait to hear about someone getting a ticket for driving too slow in the fast lane.
