I have seen shows about putting a decoy up just off a fence line inside a farmers field and calling the birds in. I was planning on doing this approach as I have a blind and access to corn and soy bean fields close by but from your pictures it looks like you are hunting inside a wooded area.
It a good plan thing with turkeys they are where they wont to be and do what they wont to do. Some days you'll look like a pro the next a rank ameture Been hunting them for a while got a good idea but they still keep me guessing. I don't know if you can spot them but this is from when I went scouting a few days ago I couldn't get any closer but there's probably 20-30 of them in the far field by that big stump

Always nice too see birds. Keep in mind you may be looking at a winter flock Soon they'll start to break up You may be left with a dominate tom with a bunch of hens which will be a tough hunt or he may take his harem to other parts leaving jakes and subordinates behind making for a more interesting hunt don't be disheartened to take a jake ask anybody they'll tell ya they are better eating anyways. Lastly resist the desire to lay eyes on the birds. Scout with your ears and use binoculars. Figure where they are and where they want to go. Trick is putting yourself in between.

Awesome tip!, I figured it was a winter flock and that they would eventually split up but thanks for the tip I have a few good spots in mind where to set up the blind now.

My son walk out of his apartment building in Sarnia the other day and there was a hen standing there, he got a nice picture of her. He is several miles in side the city. Never know where you are going to see turkeys.

Excited! Seeing lots of turkeys around, although I'm sure like most other animals they know when the season is and will dissappear for the appropriate time frame
