Once again last night the refs missed a blatant 5-minute and a game misconduct penalty.. A 5 minute penalty for Columbus could have changed the outcome of that game . The refing this year in the playoffs has been atrocious with missed penalties and even some imaginary ones..lol... I just wanted to see Josh Anderson bring the cup to Burlington,oh well now to cheer on my second favorite team... Go Boston .
The NHL rules on head checks are funny and don’t allow 5 minute penalties. It’s either 2 and 10 or 2 and game with possible follow up. There has been a one game suspension handed down since. You are definitely right though, a five minute power play at that point could have turned the game around.

As an expansion team in 1967 , the Blues have made it to the Stanley cup 3 times without a win. I’d love to see them against the Bruins in the final. I think Bobby Orr scored his iconic playoff goal against the Blues in 1970, Come’on Blues

Boston sure got job done tonight....9 or 11 days rest for them now and then they get the winner of the West... I don't see anyone stopping Boston but time will tell...

Bruins fan here and never anticipated Boston being in the cup final. To some degree the early outed Lighting and Capitals have paved the way for them to go after and hoist Stanley. I'd like to see the Sharks make it through in the west as our hometown hockey hero Logan Couture would have the opportunity to battle for his first cup win. It would also make it easier on me if the Bruins did lose against them due to Logan winning the cup and bringing it back to our small town for a visit. I guess in a sense either way it would be a win-win situation, LOL.
Hoping the Sharks vs Blues goes seven games to reduce the rest factor for each team. Bruins have some players with injuries that need time to heal and be in top shape for the cup final.
All in all it's been a strange year of NHL playoffs thus far.

Bruins vs Blues,... two evenly matched teams with A-1 goaltending so far in the playoffs. This has the potential for a very entertaining cup final.
However, as a lifelong Bruins fan I'm hoping they deliver some Deja Vu to the Blues from 49 years ago,... time for clutch-man Bergeron to net another Stanley cup winning goal,... Bobby Orr style.

I think the bruins will have this round pretty easily however I could be wrong.. The blues need to take advantage of the Bruins in the first game if they want any chance .. Bruins in 5 or 6...
