I have already sat down with the 2 land owners that I have permission to hunt. Both good to go.

finsfurfeathers, thanks for posting some pictures, I figured we were talking turkey and should have one there for people to see. I haven't had problems with file attachments, but doesn't want to work now. I will try flicker. Thanks

I've never gone turkey hunting before but I know there are a lot in my area, What are some good tips I have seen shows about putting a decoy up just off a fence line inside a farmers field and calling the birds in. I was planning on doing this approach as I have a blind and access to corn and soy bean fields close by but from your pictures it looks like you are hunting inside a wooded area. I've done scouting and walked the properties just wondering what would be the best way to ensure a successful harvest.
