I am doing the maple sugar thing and looking for sheds at the same time too. Only one so far and I am (was) hoping to take the wife out for a hunt this weekend some time. We will have to see how the weather is though. Lots of snow in the woods but it is dropping fast. Good luck.

Tomorrow I'm going to put turkey blind up. Farmer wants me to scour the fields around the bush for sheds to save his tires. So taking the quad for a nice long ride tomorrow. There were beans in the fields last year so just need to drive around looking.

You can cover a lot of ground with a quad especially in bean fields, also helpful is a pair of binos.
I'm hoping to get out for a few hrs tomorrow as well maybe I can find the other half of the ten point I found last time.
Good luck tomorrow.

No sheds, did find the remains of a small 7 point. Nothing left the skull with back bones still attached. not that old as it still stunk. But wasn't a waste as I took chain saw and cleaned up 4 trees that had fallen into the field, so the farmer won't have to do it. Man is there a lot of water in the bush. Went there the bush to help another land owner on the other side of the bush. Had to go through water half way up the quad. Went the road to get back.

0 for me today, found 3 dead and eaten deer 2 fresh this winter and an older one. Older one probably last year or the year before, a few bones left. The fresh ones were pretty much all gone. quite a bit of deer sign in the area and lots of coyote scat and all of it full of deer hair. Sad sight !

0 for me too. I usually find a couple at least. Found one dead, two other skulls and a few lower jaw bones. Never found so many bones without finding an antler. Lots of coyote but still lots of deer sign too so who knows.

My cousin dog we took him out back on his home turf looking for sheds .

Also , some snow no hanging around in the bush here .

Might take crazy beans out back once it clears ....

Ohh
Miss Lucy .... I don’t think she’s given up that shed to you easily
