Wow, what a monster. These striped bass were invading the Margaree Salmon River last time I was down there and they were also catching them in the tidal waters down at the wharf at home. They were not a welcome species in the river as there has only been trout and salmon in the river for as long as I can remember. None the less a trophy catch for sure.

That a big one..I fish for them every year in New Brunswick but I don't know why because I'm fishing with a medium action rod spooled with 12pnd line .lol.. I haven't hooked up with any big ones yet but have seen them there...
