Well I found my breaking point. Got up 430 Sunday checked weather, snow and 1C, went back to bed. Not supposed to hunt turkey in snow and cold. Did go out for a walk about in afternoon. Nothing to be seen, thought might catch one out sunning itself in the field. Checked 3 different bushes. Lots of ducks and deer.
didn't miss much set up the blind threw in the little buddy heater and watched the sunrise early morning gobbles than everything shut done find cold and wind doesn't get them active though I do have a plan now for Tuesday

Tenders for dinner already, Thighs destined for a pot roast, Breast packaged for more cutlets or Butter Turkey, rest of the bird destined for the soup pot. Only parts of the bird not used feathers, beak, esophagus/crop, trachea/lungs, kidneys/intestine, and that little gland above the tail. Waste not want not.

The first picture i took wasnt as nice, he was flat out in a mud puddle i knocked him into when i shot him. My wife didnt apreciate when i sent it to her

If you got it on flicker you're almost there. Go to the picture you what close to the lower right task bar there is a curled arrow icon click it click on BB code and copy link now go to your post and just paste it in

starting with your photstream click on the picture you want the picture should come up with a black border around it at the lower right corner in the black border there are 3 icons click the middle one. looks a bit like a arrow if you hover over it will say share A box will come up top row you will see BB code click BB code and then right click over the second row to copy that Than just right click paste into your message once you do it a few times it will seem less of a pain but it is the cheapest/best way to get decent photos up at least for now.

I know it is an ugly picture, but I looked about the same after the rain we both went through.
So my question is I originally said Jake, but is it. Tail doesn't look like jake tail, but spurs are like 1/4" numbs and beard is about 4". Beard can be winter rot, but what about spurs. The bird weighted 21lbs. I'm thinking Tom with no spurs, now.

dam I waited all this time for this If the tail is uniform its a Tom. Beard and spur have no bearing Very young 2 year old bird.
