i'm wondering what your favourite lure is to fish for walleye using worms. Season opens next Wed.

Using a worm it is a bottom bouncer and worm harness with 2 hooks.

Worm harness with a single hook, chartreuse or pink. I had switch to a power worm years ago and have not gone back to a real worm. Motor oil go to color.

I like the idea of plastic worms as that slimy mess from live worms makes a mess in the boat. i find plastic is only good during an aggressive bit.

With worms , it is a worm harness 2 hooks with hatchet blade or blades for sure but, you get bigger with cranks imho

Don’t knock it till you try it. But I had a buddy come up and he used a pink Floating worm harness. I chuckled when he pulled that out of his bag. But that night he cut three and I got one. There is no bait fish that resembled this harness so I don’t know.
