Sorry for the rant but here goes. Are you guys/ gals finding it impossible to drive the fast lane. Now I’m not a speed demon by any means but wouldn’t mind going faster then 110. Daily there is some weenie just cruising that lane with frustrated drivers in tow. Some days I understand the mindset of road rage. Am I the only one noticing this more and more. While I’m on my tantrum here let’s talk about this state of the art device that must be an option on some vehicles. Of course I’m talking about the turn signal. People either never use it or feel once they engage it , it’s their god given right to go wherever and whenever they want.

Gets worse every year. I commute all over Central Ontario and the gta. Spend 2-4 hrs a day out in that crap. I think the 400 series is why we don’t have easy access to hand guns in Canada. 😉

It is the same or worse where there is an HOV lane. Folks seem to totally forget that this lane us supposed to be for passing unless the highway is full then it doesn't matter.
I am fairly fortunate that I don't have a long drive on the southern Ontario highways and can flex my work hours to help miss a lot of the traffic.
In an effort to try and reduce blood pressure I usually have the cruise set at 100 in the slow lane going to work at 4:30am. Takes maybe a minute longer to get there. I am not going to get a speeding ticket going to work!
Now heading north to the cottage on Fridays is a different story! I don't do the steady 130s but try to go with the flow if I am in the fast lane and slow back down to my speed when I have made the pass. I will also click the cruise off for a few seconds if I see someone coming up fast when I want to pass, wait till they go by and make the pass. I know others use their mirrors cause they pull out in front of me all the time when there is time to wait for me to go by.
No common courtesy or patience left out there on the roads!
2 and a half years and my wife and I will be out of southern Ontario. It cannot come soon enough!

What I dislike most is, some (in fact many) who pretend they never noticed the posted signs everywhere along all the major highways "SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT"! I mean you stay on the left-most/fast lane driving sloooowwwly blocking people behind. Come on! If you don't want to drive any faster, that's your freedom, your right and your choice, and that's perfectly fine. But please, move your a$$ to one of the lanes on your right. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I head north from the Niagara area I leave the house at 3am. I am towing a boat with a lot of gear for a weeks vacation. I set the cruise at 100 kph and I stay in the slow lane unless I have to pass a slower vehicle. Six hours later we arrive at the lake stress free and with a little more fuel in the tank. I've been travelling this way for over 40 years and yes the traffic is getting crazy. I almost feel guilty by not driving faster but I am retired and I want to get to the camp safe and sound. To everyone please drive carefully.
