Got out last wedesday for our annual fiddle head harvest , were'nt disappointed , a little late but got all we wanted ..couple pix ..

All blanced and ready for freezer , 18 bags vaccum packed , when use just drop pouch in boiling water for 5 min , take out add butter and garlic ..Yum

Wow, that is a good haul
As an aside, the Erie walleye are starting.....I heard it's a good idea tp put a bag or two of those in the cooler for flavoring

Yep' we blanch them but not very long , couple minutes in boiling water then throw right into "COLD" water , drain and pack ..JUM
