Trophy Trout Group: Members Posts: 752 Member No.: 16371 Joined: September 28, 2018	Had a great morning out on Saturday with my fishing buddy and my son. We ended up going super shallow by accident and banging bottom really hard with our baits. My son was holding his rod trying to pop it off rocks so he wouldn't snag when he got nailed by a big bow. His first 10+ pounder. Almost ripped his rod out of his hands when it got on as he wasn't expecting a fish. I tried to take a video towards the end of his epic fight for the memories ( fish was still peeling drag at a good rate 8 minutes into the fight ) and got scolded to be ready to land the fish by him! He tried to hoist it up for a good photo but he couldn't pick the fish up.
