Friday Morning on Severn Sound

Went out this morning for a couple of hours, launched at Bridgeview Marina. I was fishing in 6-10 fow on the south side of Canary Island picked up 4 Pike all around 4lbs, didn't take any pics as I only had my iphone, although I caught my first ever Gar-Pike so I had to take one of it.

Bye the way the Gar was caught on the other side of the 400 Hwy and all were released.

Love the post and pic , they are a good looking fish Admin and Db had pics on of one too just love the color and the way they are. How was the fight and may ask what did you get it on? , nice fish

It fought hard I thought it was much bigger than it turned out to be, I caught it on a 3" Blue/Silver Toronto Wobbler

Very nice .......I love to fish for gar when I get the chance. Some do get quite large

Ya for sure I'll have to do that again it was a lot of fun, you just have to be careful on that side of the 400 (Matchedash Bay) is pretty shallow.

Right on great picture of the gar!! I also got mine in the same bay they are great fighters.
