GB Salmon again, Three's a charm

Headed out this am with my tinnie the " Mighty Minnow " and a new crew member , no names but he's known to put the fear in the bows of the Nott ,, eh ..FS..

They called for shitty weather and wind but we got 2 hours in before the "Minnows" bouncing said head to port ,


Same MO.. small baits , dead slow .. We had 3 nice fish in the box and were ready to pull lines when pop , up went rod 1 , FS handling the fish well and me ready with net and looked over , 2nd rod bouncing ..First double of the season ,with some anxious moments and rod swapping put both fish in the net at once ..

slow trip in , wind now up , time to head home ..

Filleted the fish for a nice fry in both houses , hope Ms N enjoyed her meal ..

Great day on the water , once again great company of another fishing fanatic..

Today was beautiful in that short window this morning I was also really lucky to get out in that for a couple hours.

Hey man : Glad Jack got his first good fish , now he has to hold them lower so we can see his smile ..May it be the first of many ..

When we started last year shore fishing for bass and perch he would put on this big goofy smiles and hold the fish waist height for photos, I think I've got him overcompensating about holding it up front and center I'll have to nag him to start putting em lower lol! Thanks, Steelheader, I'll go over everyone's messages with him on the forum tomorrow I am sure that will make him feel even better if that's possible about that fish

Double header is still replaying as I was closing my eyes last night.
Criss cross of fighting each others fish along with a rod swamp in the mix of the fight and landing 2 with one scoop of the net was epic !

Nadia had a smile ear to ear enjoying our fish dinner.

Best 2 hr outing !! .... wish dam wind didn’t blow us of .

Looks like we will have to re- schedule another date later in the week
