I fish Rice Lake a lot but more in the middle of the lake. I can't help you on locations to fish. My buddy has had great success with rip jigging tho. Find a weed edge and cast just into the edge and along it. Black Maribou jigs 3/8oz have been working for him. Jig and let it drop in and out of pockets and clumps. We also do well trolling in 11fow or more with rapalas and cc shads. Hope this helps. Good luck and welcome aboard.

Thanks for your reply and any of those spots you can reccomend would be great even if it just a general location we have had not much luck nd was hoping to change that >I was wondering if your at it if had had any good techniques for bass and maybe some locations. Those spot you troll you said they were ift deep and if so where would that e without any weeds and are they floating rapalas.thanks again i am going up at the end of the month to hopefully catch some fish.

I would troll parallel to the main channel. Try around any of the island pts. Floating rapalas won't get deep enough. Try a lure with a longer lip: rapala tail dancer,Wally diver. Fishing around islands will get you all the fish species at Rice. Perch patterns seem to work best with crank baits, minnow color for jigs. Good luck!

The long weekend in May we where in the middle section of the lake and did quite well drifting along the weed edges with white mister twisters and worm harnesses. I also heard ripping the bucktail jigs worked but I couldn't get a hit that way.
