how dear is it in nfld gas food lodging beer etc.

I would expect gas, food and beer to be more expensive than here in Ontario, they all are in Cape Breton. If you are heading down and you are driving pick up your beer in Quebec along the way, this will save you some money......just don't drink it all before you get there
