Making Musky Spinners

I'm thinking of making some inline spinners and need some help. Suggestions / reasons for using .051" or .062" wire. Looking at wire bending tools that would do a nice job of the loops.

I think 0.51 should work for an inline spinner, 0.62 is generally for double-bladed bucktails, but either should work. This vid might help:

Thanks for the info, 0.051" should work. I looked like it took some effort to bend with pliers, so I think it will be strong enough.
