Took my daughter down to grindstone creek yesterday, was nice to see no one fishing. (ITS A SANCTUARY DO NOT FISH THERE!)
The salmon are in there thick, and it was awesome to let her watch them run up the small shoots, and shallow sections to reach the deep pools.
If anyone has small kids, or just likes to get a good hike in and watch some fish it’s a peaceful spot.
Lots of neighbors/homeowners in the area that won’t hesitate to call mnr on anyone fishing so please respect the rules and let the fish do what their meant to do in peace.
