World Record Trout Group: Moderators Posts: 9377 Member No.: 644 Joined: April 11, 2011	I got this guy on Thorah a little over 20 years ago. Thorah is well south of their normal range. They showed up in large numbers for two winters when the population of their normal prey, small mammals, crashed farther north. Edit: I grabbed the wrong picture. This was actually taken by a friend.

One cool owl for sure. We’ve got the Long eared , Saw-whet and Snowy around now. Hopefully I can connect with one soon. Thanks TG

I remember seeing a Great Grey owl between Owen Sound and Southampton at that time. They are a very impressive bird.
