Crap ! Bruins basically out shot the blues 3-1. After it was 2-0 Blues the Bruins put down the iron curtain.
Feeling nervous.....

The rust on the Bruins was certainly evident during the first period and early into the second which was concerning to say the least as a Boston fan. They shook it off thanks to the fourth line. Top line struggled to get things going and Pastrnak was replaced by Krejci after he got that beautiful assist on the second St.Louis goal,...

Interesting to see the refs allow some old school Hudson Bay rule hockey to take place,... the Perron New York mugging on Krug who then out of frustration layed that helmet-less WWF body check on Thomas,

Takes me back to the days of watching 70's hockey,... don't mind it at all but with todays rules it was right on that fine line of a potential suspension if there had been any head contact at all.

I fully anticipate the Blues to respond with a heavy physical hitting game which will no doubt see Maroon laying some big hits. Smaller Bruins players had better keep their heads up or stay speedy and elusive to avoid injury.

Will be interesting to see how young St.Louis goaltender Binnington responds.

Yeah,... didn't think things were going to go the Bruins way after the first period. Horrible second period to say the least. Well, when you start dropping one goal leads twice it's bound to catch up with ya. Kicking goals in their own net tends to be a bit of a negative too,... twice in two games Boston gives St.Louis gift goals,... better tighten that sh*# up before next game. Bruins power play also looking very dismal. The Bergeron, Marchand and Pastrnak line has been a non factor as Blues are doing a good job neutralizing them.

Curious to see if the Blues Sundqvist will be called to the office to discuss or be given games for the head-shot on Gerzylcyk.

Nevertheless it's off to Missouri to play in the cup final for the second time in 49 years. That rink will be filled with ultra fired up fans,... gonna be a tough go for the B's but they had better take one of the two games or it's BIG trouble.

Is it just me or have certain portions of the the last two games been like watching a pre-season game,... slow with both teams showing no intensity for long stretches.

Game # 2 was a chippy one. I couldn't stay up for the OT. Looking forward to tonights game.
