Out trolling the other day near awenda park in about 17ft water.Got a hit rod bent in half thought i had a good fish till i got it in.had a silver williams wobbler on.When i landed the fish couldnt believe it was a lousy carp.Any1 every catch a carp trolling before never heard of that.LOL

a buddy of mine was downrigging last weekend in meaford.fishing was slow so he decided to move in to 40 ft of water,put the cannonball on bottom and picked up a 3lb whitefish.never heard of that before either.mac

A few years back I caught a +25lb carp trolling in Sturgeon Lake (Kawartha's) with a Wally Diver, I had just trolled over a sandy hump and the diver's nose was just digging into the sand as it hit.
Their a lot of fun to catch, but annoying when your fishing for Walleye.
