Oh well if I'm going to take a good old whipping it may as well be by my kid!! My daughter and I spent the day on Sunday cruisin for bass and pike on Severn sound and it didn't disappoint as we caught seven pike a smallie and seven largemouth, oh yes lets not forget her first G.B. Marlin. She landed a beautiful 4.93 pound largemouth and a 3.45 pounder back to back within 5 casts with a black and red spinner bait with a gold blade, what a thrill to see the excitement on her face. Shortly after that she nailed a 6.5 pound northern talk about a rush. After five hours on the bay now she was no longer eager to leave and head to the casino as planned,so we continued to keep on fishing and then the best battle of the day presented it's self a 3foot gar hit her number 15 panther Martin what a fantastic fight as he broke water continuously. She absolutely put a beating to me as I could only muster a few hammer handle pike and a decent largemouth. What a great day to remember I think she might be back a little more often after this outing. Oh ya so much for the casino lol !! Didn't think she had any luck left. Pics to follow!!

Caught the gar casting a panther marten 15 gold blade my personal best bait for the waters I fish. A lizard spoon in gold by lucky strike produces very well also.
