Haven't seen much about rainbow/salmon -- maybe that says a lot!
Took a run to Meaford yesterday, hoping the launch wasn't crowded. It wasn't. It was dead. Two trailers in the parking lot and only one other fishing boat. Fished 5 hours and only had a shaker on the cheater line. Before I launched a fellow stopped and talked for a few minutes. He hasn't seen any being brought in and hasn't got his boat ready because of it. I guess I help to keep his story true. The temperature down 75-80 ft was moving around a lot; jumping from 52 up to 58 degrees in short order. The speed also differed by 1/2 mph (moving toward shore was the faster). Still some time to set up.
Collingwood has been somewhat better. A few fish being picked up this past week. Friends say that its been spotty as well. The past two trips of 3 hours evening trolling has landed 3 small salmon. No rainbow as yet. Like a fool we'll probably keep trying.

Sorry about that -- enter finished the reply("?") Have you been out lately? Should start to get productive; first of August they usually start showing up in the Notty.

When where you last out? Your post indicates that you fish out of collingwood. What boat are you fishing out of? Are you a member of the GTAA? (I haven't got around to joining.) We may head out tonight if that wind does pick up any more.
